As a special homework assignment, I am asking each child to respond to the following question by posting a comment on this blog page. J
I am encouraging the children to type their own responses, as this is a wonderful opportunity for them to gain more experience using technology, which is an important skill they will need throughout their lives.
I am also encouraging the children to add as much detail as they would like to their responses.
You can help your child by reminding them to tap out words slowly, check the spelling of common sight words, and edit their work for the correct use of capitals and punctuation marks. Please remind your child to type his/her name after typing their comments and also to remember to click on Publish when they are finished. (Many of the comments will automatically post from Anonymous, which is fine, as long as your child types his/her name so we know who wrote the comment!) Comments will not show on the blog immediately, but will be posted within the next few days!
